The foundation for our work together, designed to keep everyone safe and supported.
These terms of service set are here to create clarity and safety for everyone involved in this work.
By booking or attending any of my sessions, workshops or programmes, you're agreeing to these terms and conditions.
Questions about these terms?⏵
Clear boundaries Know the full scope
This client agreement applies to all my offerings: one-to-one sessions, group workshops, weekend intensives and any other Shadow Work services I provide. Whether you're booking a single session or committing to ongoing work, these same terms apply throughout.
When I talk about 'services' in these terms of use, I mean any Shadow Work session, workshop or related offerings, including in-person work, online sessions and any resources or materials shared by me.
Simple exchange Clear terms, transparent trust
Here's how the practical side works:

What's included
Life flows Grace when plans shift
I understand that life happens and sometimes plans need to change. Here's how we handle cancellations and rescheduling:
If I need to cancel you will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another date.One-to-one sessions: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 72 hours before your session. I'll happily move your booking to a new date. Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice may forfeit the full session fee, though I'll always consider exceptional circumstances.
Weekend intensives: The scale of planning involved is greater for group workshops. Deposits are therefore non-refundable, as is the remaining balance unless your place is filled by another fully paying participant.
If I need to cancel or significantly change a workshop date, you'll receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another event. I'll give you as much notice as possible if this happens.
Your foundation Show up for yourself
Shadow Work involves some practical commitments:
Real clarity Know what this is
Shadow Work is not therapy, counselling, or medical treatment. If you're currently experiencing mental health difficulties, crisis, or active trauma, please work with a qualified mental health professional first. Shadow Work can be a powerful complement to therapy, but it's not a substitute for it.
I offer transformational personal development work for people who are already relatively stable and ready to engage in inner work. It can be especially effective for people who've done some foundation building elsewhere.
I reserve the right to decline or pause working with anyone if I feel Shadow Work isn't appropriate for them at this time.
Stay safe Your stories stay sacred
Everything shared during our sessions or personal correspondence will be kept confidential, along with your personal information.
I will only break confidentiality if:
In group settings, we ask all participants to respect each other's confidentiality.
For full details about how I handle your data, please see my privacy policy.
Shared work We both show up
Your participation is voluntary. You choose how you engage with any the work. I won't force you into anything, and you can pause or stop at any time. You're ultimately responsible for your own wellbeing and the choices you make during and after our work together.
I provide my services with care and skill, but I can't guarantee specific outcomes. Shadow Work is powerful, but everyone's journey is different. What shifts for you depends on many factors, including your own readiness and what you do with the work afterwards.
Limitation of liability: To the fullest extent permitted by law, I'm not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from your participation in my services. My total liability to you for any claims related to my services is limited to the amount you paid for those specific services. I hold professional liability insurance.
Honour the work Respect what's mine
We evolve These terms grow too
I might need to update these terms occasionally as my work evolves or legal requirements change. When I do, I'll post the updated version here and note the revision date at the bottom of the page.
If you've already booked with me when I make changes, the terms you agreed to at the time of booking will still apply to that specific work. New terms will apply to any future bookings you make.
Your voice Let's talk it through
If you're unhappy with any aspect of my service, please talk to me, and I hope your concerns can be resolved through conversation - you can reach me here.
If this doesn't resolve things for you, please follow this complaints process:
These terms are governed by English law and any disputes will be handled in English courts, but I'd much rather work things out together than end up in court.
Know yourself Your wellbeing first
Please be honest with me about your mental and physical health, so I can make sure Shadow Work is right for you at this particular time.
You should not book Shadow Work sessions with me if you're currently experiencing:
If any of these apply, please work with appropriate medical or therapeutic professionals first. Shadow Work can be powerful for integration and growth, but it's not designed to address crisis or acute mental health needs.
If you have experienced acute trauma within the last 12 months, or have any active substance abuse issues, please let me know at least 2 weeks before booking your 1:1 session or as soon as possible for group workshops. I will consider working with someone in these circumstances on a case-by-case basis.
You should also let me know about any physical conditions that might affect your ability to sit, stand, or move around during sessions. I can usually adapt exercises, but I need to know what you're working with.
Everything held Complete and clear
A few final details to cover all my bases:
Complete agreement: These terms, together with my privacy policy and any booking confirmation, make up the complete agreement between us. They replace any previous agreements or understandings.
If a bit doesn't work: If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. I'll replace any unenforceable bit with something as close as possible that does work legally.
No waiver: If I don't enforce a particular term on one occasion, that doesn't mean I've given up the right to enforce it in future.
Assignment: You can't transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to anyone else. Your work with me is personal to you.
Open here Ready, listening
If anything in these terms isn't clear, or if you need to discuss how they might apply to your particular situation, please don't hesitate to ask.
I'm here to make this work accessible and safe for everyone. Sometimes that means having honest conversations about what might work and what might not be quite right yet.
